Pride March in DC, Update

Update on bus going to Equality march on washington, D.C. Sunday June 11: Today, i had to cancel the big bus, and tried to get a 19 passenger van which i could easily fill, and they were both booked. So I had to recontract for a 31 passenger bus, because i am not disappointing myself or the people who signed up originally and paid me so fast. SO, as of this afternoon, i had 15 available seats at least. All of a sudden, a facebook post i did took off and i am now down to 11 seats, and several other inquiries. SO, if anybody from spectrum still wants to go, I will be at the meeting, Wednesday, May 10, at 4:30, and you will need to pay me the $45.00 at that time. My new deadline for the bus is next Monday, and the bus is definitely going, so... - Submitted by Dan

Pride March in DC

There is an LGBTQ march on Washington, D.C. planned for Sunday, June 11, 2017 this year. This is their annual weekend pride celebration but instead of a parade this year, they have changed it to a march, which means more national in scope, more people, more political. The reasons are obvious. I am organizing a bus from Williamsport leaving early that Sunday morning and returning later Sunday evening. The one day excursion cost is between $40.00-$45.00 per person. For now, I'm just looking for sign up, money to be due in April to confirm. If you are 85% sure you want to do this, i need to know asap, with your name, email address, and phone number. The bus is half full already, so it's a definite go. - Submitted by Dan

Friday's meeting...

Friday night's Spectrum Alliance meeting saw over 20 people, including members from GSA's from Williamsport High School, Jersey Shore High School, and Lycoming College. BULLETIN: Spectrum is going to weekly meetings starting in April, some on Wednesdays, some on Sundays. Stay tuned for more details. Very exciting. - Submitted by Dan
